Beth Phelps

Beth is an experienced Person-Centred trainee psychotherapist working 1 to 1 with adults.

From Beth:

I am a down-to-earth person, with a wholehearted approach to my work and genuine care for my clients. The foundation of my work is to build a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship in which you feel understood and accepted, just as you are.

Whatever your reasons for seeking therapy, you will have my full support to address your difficulties, so you can make the changes you need, or come to terms with what cannot be changed. I am a Person-centred psychotherapist, which for me means I believe you are the expert on your life and experience. I will follow your lead to address the things that feel most important to you, and we will work together to find a way forward.

I am currently in my fourth year of training as a psychotherapist at The Metanoia Institute. I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and am committed to working within their ethical frameworks. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirmative.
