Luisa Savoia

Luisa is an Integrative psychotherapist, accredited with UKCP. Her approach to therapy is informed primarily by psychodynamic and humanistic theory, with a transpersonal perspective. Luisa works with individuals and couples.

From Luisa:

I offer psychotherapy to help clients align with their more authentic self, in the face of life's troubles. Drawing from various theories and techniques, I tailor my approach to individual needs, focusing in the first instance, on understanding attachment styles, behaviour patterns, and defenses.

I believe therapy can provide a reflective space for self-discovery and healing. My goal is to facilitate a safe space, where clients can move toward feeling at home within themselves, embracing Carl Jung's concept of "individuation" as central to the process.

I have practiced with private clients for two years, and spent time in low-cost placements and a practice-based mental health team in the NHS. I work with many presentations and issues, including anxiety, compulsive behaviours, loss, burnout, depression, eating disorders, family issues, low self-esteem, narcissistic abuse, sexual abuse, social anxiety, and stress.
