Antonia Hollowood

Antonia is a BACP registered integrative counsellor and psychotherapist working with adults 1:1.

From Antonia:

I focus on anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, impulsivity and low mood, supporting clients navigating the pressures of growing up online and offline in today’s complex world. This can include social, relational and professional pressures, identity questions, changes in our relationship with substances, and the growing pains of adulting. I have experience working with creatives, students, founders, directors, and neurodivergent clients (supporting ASD, dyslexia and ADHD).

I take a holistic, integrative approach, drawing on cognitive and behavioural therapies, alongside psychodynamic and person-centred work. My approach is not rigid; it is flexible. I am less focused on worksheets or homework (though I will share things from time to time, a podcast, a concept, a reflection). I will not simply stare at you blankly and nod; I may even laugh or share a sombre silence with you.

I focus on accepting, understanding and exploring a breadth of thoughts and behaviours aiming to help people live better in the NOW, while creating space for deeper exploratory work.

I have a creative and therapeutic background and feel that culture, context, and the world beyond the therapy room are important to explore and understand within the work.

I'm serious about my work and also serious about having fun. I have a cat but I’m a dog person.

I offer free introductory calls to all clients of 15 mins with no obligation - because therapy needs to be the right fit and work for you (via website below).
